The Student Tutoring program relies on Cambrian students to apply to work as Student Tutors. Consequently, we cannot guarantee that Student Tutors will be available for all courses.
Please notify the Learning Centre Coordinator of any courses not found in the schedule. Further recruitment efforts may be required and can take time.
We will do our best to find tutors in a timely manner.
Are you having trouble learning new concepts?
Professional Tutors provide support in the fundamentals of writing, English as a Second Language (ESL), Math, and Sciences, and can help you with a variety of study skills. Professional Tutors guide students through subject matter, but will not complete a student's work for them.
Do you need help with specific course material?
Meeting with a Student Tutor can provide you with an opportunity to get clarification on challenging course material. Your Student Tutor will help explain course content in simplified terms, but you will be required to do all course work on your own. As with Professional Tutors, Student Tutors will not proofread or do your homework for you.
Students can independently make appointments with Professional Tutors and approved Student Tutors. Check out the details below to register, book appointments and connect with your tutor online. Video and audio are required for online appointments.
